Node Incentive Pilot v1

A limited, budgeted program intended to offset real infrastructure costs for early node operators. This is an operational reimbursement program — not mining, not yield, and not inflationary.

Funding source

Funded exclusively from the Infrastructure Reserve. No minting and no inflation.

Pilot posture

  • • Small by design
  • • Time-bounded (3–6 months initially)
  • • Manual admission during pilot
  • • Hard budget cap per period

Eligibility (v1)

  • • Operate an RMP node or protocol-supporting service
  • • Meet uptime targets (e.g., ≥95% per period)
  • • Run an approved software version
  • • One payout per operator identity (anti-sybil)
  • • Contactable for operational coordination

Token ownership is not required.

Incentive structure

  • • Flat stipend per qualifying node (not performance yield)
  • • Paid monthly or quarterly after verification
  • • Failing criteria results in skipping that period (no clawbacks)
  • • Program may be paused/modified/ended during pilot

Transparency

At the end of each period, publish aggregate metrics: number of participating nodes, total tokens distributed, remaining budget, and any rule changes or incidents. Individual wallet identity disclosure is not required.
